Eighty years ago, in August 1945, the news that WW2 had finally ended was received with joy and relief in communities across Australia. At the same time, families and communities mourned loved ones who would never return. To mark the 80th anniversary of the end of WW2, award-winning local historian Patrick Ferry will be sharing stories of Pakenham residents who lost their lives during WW2 and the families who mourned them.

We’re delighted to have Patrick Ferry with us again for our Annual General Meeting. Patrick’s presentation will commence at 2 pm and will be followed by afternoon tea. Our AGM will held immediately after the break with reports, awards and presentations and the election of our 2025-26 committee and VIPs.
