Hidden Gems in FamilySearch – New things and old things you might be missing
It’s not just about trees and index searching on FamilySearch. There is so much more that you can access if you know where to look. And even more is coming!
Jan Whitaker has been doing family history for about 10 years, focusing mostly on her American and European heritage. She co-leads the U3A Genealogy class in Fiddler’s Green. Jan can trace her American ancestors back to 1677 when a many x great grandfather arrived in Maryland as an indentured servant. In addition, she has discovered ancestors across Germany, Hungary and Holland through various record collections in those countries and languages. She has dug into the paid systems, but her main data source is the FamilySearch data collection.
There is no need to book, members and friends are always welcome.
