Patricia was just seven years old when her family were interred in a Japanese prisoner of war camp at the Santo Tomas University in Manila from 1942 to 1945. Luckily, the family survived and moved to Australia after the war. But she didn’t forget the horrors of the camp and adopted the philosophy that ‘life meant a lot and she couldn’t waste a minute’. And, she didn’t.
Patricia lived a double life as she went on to become an international model, working in film and television, all while farming a cattle
and dairy farm in Beaconsfield. Patricia is now in her nineties, enjoying life with her grandchildren and will be telling us the story of her very eventful life.
Patricia’s presentation will begin at 2 pm, followed by a short break and our business part of the meeting.
Visitors are always welcome.
