The digitised newspapers on Trove are a wonderful source of family history information, but not all newspapers are digitised and not all digitised newspapers are on Trove. We’ll tell you where to look and what you can discover.

This talk will be the first in our series of Getting to know your family history talks and workshops for 2025. The 60 minute talk will be followed by a short break during which participants can leave or enjoy lunch and a chat with other participants (BYO lunch, tea and coffee provided) and then using the family history group’s equipment and resources, spend a little time putting into practice what you have learnt. If you’re not a member of our group and join on the day we will reduce the membership fee by $5. Members and visitors are welcome to attend.
