DESCRIPTION:A century after the guns fell silent Pakenham’s WWI volunteers\, 1914-18 \nOur guest speaker for February is Patrick Ferry who is in the process of writing a book on  Pakenham’s WW1 volunteers. Patrick will give a talk about some of the really interesting characters from his research. He will also talk a little about the St Patrick’s Primary School connection via it’s honour board\, but will leave the wider history for a later talk. \n
