Paula Taylor from the Friends of Wilson Botanic Park Berwick will be talking about Ellis Rowan who was a famous, multi-award winning and prolific Australian botanical illustrator who also painted birds, butterflies and insects. She was an intrepid traveller who ventured into extreme environments to capture the subjects of her work. She was the aunt of Baroness Casey and so, by marriage, aunt also to Lord Casey. Her story is extraordinary.
Paula’s presentation will begin at 7.30 pm and be followed by a short break with tea and coffee available before the business part of the meeting.
Visitors are always welcome, there is no need to book.
